Two quick things: The first is that Avonlea wrote me a very nice little note about my last post, but made me think maybe I said something I didn't meant to say. So, for what it's worth, I hated high school for all the reasons all of you probably did (unless you were THAT GIRL... you know who you are), and because, as the Jewish kid in the Episcopal school, I was a fish way, way out of water - not because of the Episcopalians. Didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea. The second is this: Since I changed the name of this blog from "The Adoption Blog" to "An Elephant's Gestation" I have been getting a whole lot of hits from google and yahoo from people searching for "elephant's gestation," other things relating to either elephants or gestation, and today, my favorite: "Elephant sex." You couldn't make this stuff up.
