It's May Day - it would have been my Mom-Mom's 93rd birthday. It's almost exactly 3 years since she's gone.
There's no way I can put into words how I felt - how I feel - about her, except to say I only hope to be half as honest and tough and opinionated and salty-tongued and fiercely devoted to my family as she was.
What an incredible presence she still is in my life.

COMMENT-BODY:Sounds a lot like my gram, who died a few years ago too. She used to pick fights with me over contraversial things just for the fun of it and then when I got all worked up, demure and say, "I don't know why you're getting so upset at me, I'm just a sweet little old lady."
